The Wild Pup House is your dog’s home away from home and we offer the highest level of care. We specialize in offering dogs off-leash pack adventure experiences you can’t find anywhere else. While you might see others use the word “adventure,” our services really meet the definition.
Our Basic Service:
Active Stay Boarding in Our Beaverton Home
Your dog's stay includes:
- Daily hiking and outdoor time: A 1 hour hike at the dog park or 3 hours minimum social yard play time each day, but often both!
- Personal, attentive care: I spend time with my canine guests throughout the day, providing individual attention and loving companionship.
- Freedom to be a dog: No crates as part of our routine boarding experience. Dogs can relax on the furniture and enjoy the comforts of our home, just like in your own home.
- Room to roam: Access to our oversized yard throughout the day.
- Night time nosh: Every dog gets a bone after dinner.
- Canine Friends: Our three resident dogs and other canine guests all interact in a healthy, conscious canine community.
- A familiar, loving environment: A home setting where your dog can settle in, feel comfortable, and enjoy being part of the family.
- Daily photos and communication: Based on your preferences
- Training support: Consistent support for training goals

Epic Adventure Boarding
(When a boarding stay is over a Tuesday or Wednesday) *Additional days also possible upon request

Each Adventure Day Includes:
6-8 hour off-leash pack adventures on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Our signature epic multi-sport adventures: hikes, runs with the dirt bike, swims with a kayak, snow sports, and more!
Garmin GPS Satellite Trackers for each new dog
Adventure photos and videos with free downloads
Always led by Toby, the most experienced Dog Adventures Guide in the PNW. 10+ years experience, backcountry expert, Wilderness First Responder, Animal First Aid Certified, Licensed, Bonded and Insured.
Schedule one or both adventure days during your dog's stay!
For moderate exercise needs: Raven's Pack on Tuesdays
4-8 miles per adventure day
Hiking and water or snow play and light sports
For high-energy dogs: Wilder Pack on Wednesdays
Up to 8-16 miles traveled per day
Multi-sport activities (running with dirt bike, swimming with kayak, cross country skiing, etc.)

Top-Tier Treatment

Expert Care
Toby is Pet First Aid and Animal CPR certified, she is a Wilderness First Responder certified 5 times through NOLS over a 15 year period, and has over 10 years experience running WPA. She’s also certified in Reiki for Animals and Animal Psychology.

Confinement Free
Full run of the house. Dogs are treated as family members just like Toby’s own 3 dogs. Guests are welcome on all furniture and are rarely left alone.

Large Yard
Dogs can freely enjoy our double lot, fully fenced yard. There are toys to play with, outdoor sofas to lay on, and they can go in and out as they please.

Sleep Anywhere
Dogs can sleep where they want, so if your dog is used to sleeping with you, they can also sleep in bed here! The more cuddles, the more comfort for them!

Adventures
Basic and Epic adventures are part of your dog’s stay with WPA. And whether they want to attend the more moderate Raven’s Pack or the absolutely epic Wilder Pack, they are welcome as long as they pass the assessments. Those are 6-8 hour adventure days with up to 16 miles of fun! Dogs are put in an appropriate activity group based on thier needs.

Raven, Jonah, and Wally welcome their friends to their house. So long as your dog gets along easily with others, they’ll always have buddies at home and on adventures!

Every guest stays at the Wild Pup House, which is my home, alongside my three beloved friendly dogs. Boarding here means round-the-clock care, cozy beds, a spacious fenced backyard, and a welcoming environment where every dog is treated like family. Most Wild Pups quickly settle in and truly consider the Wild Pup House their home away from home.
As part of our Portland Dog Adventure services, boarding pups can join adventure days, exploring trails, swimming, hiking, and enjoying off-leash play. Every dog receives personalized care, socialization, and exercise in a safe, loving environment.

Pup Parents,
At Wild Pup Adventures, boarding dogs isn’t just a service—it’s my home, heart, and lifestyle. Every Wild Pup that joins us is treated the same as one of my own three fur kids. I usually welcome just 1–2 guest dogs at a time so I can give the highest quality care and really get to know a dog’s personality, every quirk, and what makes them happiest.
Days at the Wild Pup House are full of care, calm, and adventure. On adventure days, dogs hike, swim, explore, and play—then settle into cozy moments in the evening knowing they are loved and safe. When parents come to pick up their pups, most of them try to sneak back in—they don’t want to leave! (Yes, this happens more often than you’d think.)
My boarding service is about more than care—it’s about creating a home where dogs feel valued, comfortable, celebrated, and endlessly loved, while enjoying adventures that make their tails wag and hearts sing. It’s a comfortable place dogs love vacationing in over and over.
